I went there yesterday and only needed to purchase 2 items! A barrette and hairclaw. The cashier told me about a "buy 3, get 2 free deal and that sounded great to me, but I didn't notice until I got to the counter that she said it was "buy 5, get 2 for free"? I was very confused and I was upset because I didn't need 5 items. I only needed 2. NOT WANTED. NEEDED. I needed a new hairclaw for very long hair to do around house cleaning. I wanted a blue barettee to match the only dress I wear especially since I had an interview coming up. That's all I needed again. The cashier followed me around. I was the ONLY PERSON in store besides her and I was looking at other things that she thought would look nice on me, but I insisted I didn't need it because couldn't afford it and finally I get to the counter with 2 items in hand and she says, "If you only buy these you can't get 2 free. You've got to buy 5 to get 3 free". I just grabbed a pretty looking black bow, and 2 headbands and I was aware of the $12.50 price sticker, but she said I'd get it free! Long story short, the store was closing and she (Traci) was her name grabbed the 5 items from me after I specifically asked could I put the $12.50 and $7.50 one back because I didn't want them nor did I need them and she rung them up anyway while I my fiance suggested she put them back as well! She did say I could return them when I returned because I said I would return. I told her I was on a budget. After we get home I take out my receipt and notice something that made me one of the angriest people on earth at that moment! The receipt stated that I had to pay a RETURN FEE IF I NEEDED TO RETURN SOMETHING AND PRICES WERE LISTED AS TO WHAT THE FEE WOULD BE! I WAS REALLY SAD AND MAD BECAUSE I FELT LIKE (TRACI THE CASHIER) SHOULD'VE TOLD ME!!! She didn't tell me about a return fee. I purchased 2 items that cost $5.50 which were the ones I actually needed! She talked me into purchasing the other 3. One barettee at $6.50, and 2 headwraps at $7.50 and $12.50! I did not need those 3 items! I knew the store was closing soon and she didn't let me try them on! One headwrap is too large for my head and falls right over my face and lands on my hair, but if I want to return it. Well that one was $7.50. It will cost a return fee of $5.30! Ridiculous! I can't even wear it so I wasted my money! Not hers! She earned my money by keeping that from me which is A BIG DEAL NO MATTER WHAT ANYONE SAYS! She should've said, "We add a return fee should you want to return it". Of course I wouldn't have bought them and that's why she didn't tell me! She knew that I wasn't going back right away and Claire's gained a false profit by not telling their customers! I hadn't been since 2011 so I had no idea! Back to story: I only needed 1 barettee and 1 hairclaw which cost $5.50 each. Those I needed, but if I wanted to return them. They'd cost a return fee of $3.89! Traci pressured me into buying 3 more and told me about the new ones and how they were so lovely. She even took me to the rack. I picked out 2 flower headwraps and a clip bow quickly because she kept saying we need to ring you up now. The clip bow cost $6.50 and would be $4.59 to return it! The cheaply made flower headband cost $7.50 and will be a return fee of $5.30! The $12.50 headwrap that she chose that I personally thought was an outrageous price will be $8.83 to return!
REMEMBER THE BUY 5, GET 2 FOR FREE?
SHE CHARGED ME FOR THE MORE EXPENSIVE ITEMS! THAT'S RIGHT! I GOT CHARGED $6.50, $7.50, and $12.50! I RECEIVED THE $5.50 ITEMS FOR FREE!?
I PERSONALLY THINK THEY SHOULD BE SPECIFIC AND IT'S NOT UP TO THEM TO JUST CHOOSE TO CHARGE YOU FOR THE MORE EXPENSIVE ITEMS, BUT THAT REALLY HAPPENED TO ME YESTERDAY ON MAY 28TH. 2016 at 9:16 P.M.
All because I needed a long-haired hairclaw to do some house cleaning and just when I go up the road and 1 barrette as needed for a job interview which I told her meaning I've no money for the others' so please respect my boundaries! NEVER AGAIN WILL I SHOP IN ANOTHER CLAIRE'S IN MY LIFE! THEY WON'T GET A PENNY FROM ME JUST BECAUSE THEY DIDN'T ABOUT THE RETURN FEE WHICH IN ALL HONESTY...I DIDN'T KNOW EXISTED AND WASN'T TOLD OR YES, I WOULD'VE WENT BACK!

my mom took me to claires to get my earings done and the lady that did my ears was nice and i was a little scared to get them done but i wanted to get it over with i chosed purple studs and then the lady marked my ears where the earings would go and i told the lady to do them at the same time and then when she put the earing in it was so painful and then later on i was sitting down on my couch watching tv and then a picece of my hair got stuck on my ear on the front and then i had to pull it out and then the front part of the earing fell off and then i told my mom and then she took me to a tattoo shop to get them removed and then i went home never go to claires they are bad!!!!!!!!!!!
Earring problems
got my second hole done at Claire's and it was amazing for the first week but one day I saw that the earing had sunken in to my ear so my mom and I took it out cleaned it and put Neosporin on the earring and my ear but the next day the skin had grown over my ear and it was hard to get out and we realized that the earing was bent and broken on the jewel so I've now had to put my own diamond studs in my ears and throw away the other pair of earrings I'm very disappointed with the outcome I used to love going to Claires for jewelry but after this I don't think ill be going anytime soon

I had went to Claire's today when I got off work I purchase something that came up to almost $20 I only had $100 bill and she told me she could not break it she had no money to break it but if you're the manager shouldn't you have money put in a safe somewhere so you can break your customers bill for them and I told her I said well I'll just go somewhere else and by that then if she says okay thank you I am not happy that was very poor customer service and this was Claire's at West Park Mall in Cape Girardeau Missouri

Maybe know the gage for your nose before buying a pack of nose rings?
Does your mommy know you are playing on the computer?
I order four different types of nose rings from Claire too online AND THEY ALL ARRIVED. One was misshapen and free floating within the package like as if it had been used.
The other one was rusty.
Disappointed but I've learned NEVER TO SHOP AT CLAIRES AGAIN. CHEAP PRODUCTS POOR QUALITY.
